it took a while for me to realize
that the real reason I've become so immersed
in this series [Miraculous Ladybug]
is that being in the fandom is like coming back home
to my first internet fandom [Saint Tail]
...and more specifically, to my first
(and still all-time greatest) OTP

it feels like being fourteen years old all over again
(...which is incredibly embarrassing when in fact,
I'm now the other side of thirty)

(B!S1 re: 'Miraculous Ladybug') Given how they like to portray the MMC, I reeeaaally want to make all the fedora-tipping "M'lady!" jokes in the world at this fandom; but I'm terrified that they'd rip me to shreds. O:

(B!S2 re: 'Saint Tail') I still froth at the mouth when discussions of this turn to, "But have you seen 'Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne'? It's like, exactly the same, only better!" UGH NO IT IS NOT! YOU STOP THAT!!! D:

Oh, lovely~ Saint Tail! I loved this anime/manga-- it was super adorable and the secret identity was all my jam. I loved ML more in the sense that it's a love square with two people, but the same level of cute is totally there. XD
