(That being said, there are a ton of Kylo woobie-fiers. I agree that people use Rey as a self insert.)

DA--actually, the idea of Rey being reduced to a self-insert would probably piss me off a lot if I though too hard about it. I better not do so.

Give Rey a little more practice with the Force and she'll kick Kylo's ass every time, so I'm not worried about her in an "abusive ship." I just think she's the type who would go for support and affection in a relationship. And, you know, not evil. Like Finn, for instance!
