If there's one thing I know about Star Wars, it's that Anakin killed Padme with the Force.

Actually, I believe that Palpatine killed her. They kept saying she should be healthy, but she was dying anyway. I beleieve Palpatine syphoned her life to make sure Anakin survived that surgery.

Also note how Palpatine gleefully told him about killing her but Anakin KNEW she had been alive? Yeah....

Perhaps Anakin unconsciously drew from her, using the power of midichlorians

nayrt, but that makes a lot more sense than the broken heart thing. And I don't know where people got the idea that Anakin killed her? Unless by indirect means of the broken heart, stress, etc.

I like this theory. It's a heck of a lot better than 'she died of a broken heart', which totally undermines Padme as a character.

I actually came across that theory. It was a really well thought out article someone put together and I've been a supporter of it ever since. If I can find the link again, I'll share it.
