It'll go from hit-or-miss annoying and tryhard but often very interesting lively and cool to duller than dirt but less annoying and tryhard.

CC is very hit-or-miss, but I think he might be able to strike a better balance of tone than Moffat. But he won't have control until 2018, and that seems to indicate Capaldi might leave at the end of next season.

I'm fine with that. I don't hate Moffatt, but I'm also ready to see what someone new can do with the show.

I'm mostly just disappointed that season 10 has been pushed back so we don't get new episodes fora whole year.
