i mean... in all honesty, this seems like this is one of the least bad conceptual cases possible for incest

like, they didn't know each other growing up, and it's incredibly possible that they're first cousins or something.

Yeah, cousins who have never met (or cousins who have) hooking up isn't all that uncommon in the real world.

Ignorance on the part of the characters doesn't stop a lot of people from finding incest gross regardless, I mean just look at how people still talk about Luke and Leia, it's so overblown.
