I think YA books have some better marketing (sorry, don't want to read something with a half naked woman on the cover). Also, I'm stuck in the lurch between the typical YA protagonist age and the adult protagonist age. So, I see nothing wrong with reading YA. Especially since some of them, or even the kids books authors, tend to try toward more creativity. Or, at least, easier to find creativity.

What. Not every non-YA book has a half-naked woman on the cover. In fact, I would hazard to guess that the vast majority of non-YA books don't have a half-naked woman on the cover.

As someone who prefers sci-fi and fantasy, quite a few of the adult books have covers that exploit women.
