Armpit hair is gross and smelly. Everyone should shave just to keep the stink down.
bur: Mami looking kind of surprised at something off to the side. (Surprised Mami)

Not really? Just buy a good deodorant. My armpit hair is soft, fluffy, and clean thank you very much. Though I do shave it if I'm wearing something sleeveless, because it's not worth other people pretending they're not staring.

Just so you know

Not true for everyone. One of the reasons I stopped shaving was because I sweat (and consequently, stink) a lot less when I *don't* shave.

Sort of same here. The hair provides a cushion of air around the skin and wicks away moisture so it dries faster. Think wearing a towel, vs wearing leather.

But my hair is fine and tangles easily so the first time I got a nasty knot in my pit it got shaved off. Now I let it go for a while and then shave it off before it gets long enough to tangle.

same

if there's no hair to "trap" it I just get long smelly streaks of pit juice down my sides

Oh good to know I'm not the only one! I stopped shaving my armpits for this exact reason, and my family keep saying that I'm imagining things and that I should shave it.

I'd like to think I might be a little more aware than they are about how my armpits smell, and trust me, if I shave, they smell horrible @_@
