I'm so tired of this belief that being single means you have no life, are inadequate, or aren't "doing it right".

I suppose it was included because OP's friends aren't happy being single, but it shouldn't be taken as a negative for everyone.

I'm fine with being single, too. I'm way more focused on getting my own life more organized and sorted out right now, relationships aren't really on my list of concerns at the moment. If I ever meet a great guy someday, I'll gladly go for it, sure, but I want to wait until things are stable in my life before I bring someone else into it in that sort of significant way.
