I've never shipped them, but I think it would be kind of hilarious if the show ended all "...and Mycroft and Lestrade lived happily ever after!"

Don't know about "all the evidence" though. There hasn't actually been much in the way of evidence beyond "these two dudes are aware of each other's existence."
