I enjoyed it too and was genuinely disappointed she didn't finish it for the tenth anniversary. I like how Edward comes across as more of a psycho, especially because the main story romanticizes his abusive tendencies.

Edward is definitely a much more entertaining POV character, though of course that isn't exactly diffcult. It was amusing to watch him project all these traits of goodness and loveliness onto Bella because he couldn't read her mind to find out exactly how vapid it was. I'm sure it wasn't on purpose, but it came off almost as a stealth parody of the original book.

Midnight Sun was great. I think my favorite part was when he was imagining all the collateral damage that would ensue in the classroom as he went for Bella's neck--how many dead, how many wounded. It really is a shame she decided not to finish it.
