I hate this ship (Asanoya). Just seeing it on my dash pisses me off. Mainly because it's stupidly popular despite THIS ship (Asasuga) clearly being superior.

This ship (Asasuga) is basically non-existent in fandom :(

It was hugely embarrassing when my flatmate caught me reading a pornographic webcomic. Of course I was disbelieved and soundly mocked when I tried to claim that I read it for the plot.

Well, flatmate was right - I don't read it for the plot. I don't read it for the porn either, though. I find both to be mediocre at best.

What keeps me reading is the artist's commentary alongside every update. It's delightfully tongue-in-cheek, unafraid to mock the comic's unabashed use of cliché, or be self-critical when things didn't turn out quite as hoped for. I find it unfailingly witty and refreshing; and sometimes, the author's insights do help me to appreciate the other aspects of the comic more.

But I wouldn't say that anywhere except here, as it sounds even less believable than 'I read it for the plot'.

I find it hard to believe you watched the movie considering you got a pretty big plot event wrong in your secret. *does Leonardo Dicaprio squint at you*

That said, I don't think he deserves to win an Oscar either. Tom Hardy does though, his acting was better and more enjoyable to watch.

I sometimes argue when people talk about Cosplay Bullying as if it's a brand new thing that's just recently gotten bad. I point out people have bullied cosplayers for decades and if anything it's gotten better.

I don't say that the reason I know, is 20 years ago I was one of the bullies. I was a stupid tween on all the cosplay hate forums adding my voice to those saying everyone was too fat, too ugly, or the wrong race to cosplay.

I would never do it now, but back then no one was trying to condemn it or treat it like a problem. But just because people weren't calling it out doesn't mean it didn't exist.

I enjoyed it too and was genuinely disappointed she didn't finish it for the tenth anniversary. I like how Edward comes across as more of a psycho, especially because the main story romanticizes his abusive tendencies.

also Jacob kinda... I have mixed feelings on him. I think he knew more than he was letting on, and I kinda feel as if he's actually stringing Vic along for some odd reason. I don't know. He has these moments where he seems too good to be true, and that makes me instantly think he's shady as fuck. I don't know. I DO like him, but I don't like him? It's really weird.
