Re: If you could wipe one animal species off the face of the earth
And flies exist!
Re: If you could wipe one animal species off the face of the earth
Flies are irritating, but I'll take them over terror-inducing spiders.
(Honestly though if I was doing a three-genie wishes kind of thing I would actually wish away my fear instead, because I would be so much happier without that stupid phobia).
Re: If you could wipe one animal species off the face of the earth
Ah, see, I'm a microbio student, so for me, flies are less "irritating" and more "fucking hellholes of disease and filth". >_>;;
TBF, some spiders are scary (Australian Mouse Spider is just a big fat no for me, but other spiders, IDK, I don't know if I'd want them to vanish! |D
Re: If you could wipe one animal species off the face of the earth
I can't find them cute at all, not even the apparently 'cute' ones because they still scare the shit out of me, I'm just really not good with them(and the fuckers seem to know it because out of everyone in my house they always find me D:).
Ahaa, you have knowledge of the little irritants then, I can understand that. The little flies are okay, if mildly irksome to me, but the bigger house-ones are really annoying.
This is my main issue with wanting to go to Australia, I'd love to visit but holy fuck I don't want to deal with their Nopes.
Re: If you could wipe one animal species off the face of the earth
That sounds annoying. :I
Yeah. Plus I'm currently taking a course on parasites, so I have those on the brain. >_>;;;
I made the mistake of watching "Top 10 Dangerous Animals: Australia" and while a lot of it was very interesting, (especially one guy who was like "I just got bitten by a potentially deadly snake? I've got time for a beer while I wait for the EMS", and it was slightly terrifying. |D
Re: If you could wipe one animal species off the face of the earth
It is both annoying and terrifying. Though I wonder if because I'm scared of them I notice them more rather than them making a beeline for me, but still it feels like they're singling me out.
I bet that is both fascinating and disgusting.
Haha, oh man I stay away from those shows because I know they'll be turning up, but I do find the snakes and manta rays very interesting to learn about.
Re: If you could wipe one animal species off the face of the earth
Manta rays! I didn't get to pet a manta ray, but I got to pet little tiny rays at a zoo I was at in Tacoma. If you're ever in the area, I highly suggest it.
Re: If you could wipe one animal species off the face of the earth
(Anonymous) 2016-01-25 12:02 am (UTC)(link)Aaaagh, this is me, too! I know someone who lives there and I want to visit her someday, and if and when I ever get the money to do so I will.
But you'd better believe I'll be side-eyeing the hell out of any places where spiders may roam the whole time. I've heard about their spiders...*Shudders violently*
Re: If you could wipe one animal species off the face of the earth
So it's definitely something I would really, really have to think on if I ever got the money for it.
