I think that's cute. My friends and I were gonna write a movie (or possibly a musical or possibly an opera) and our "brainstorming" sessions were much the same as your practices. I still have a few of our notes and I just think they're funny as hell.

One friend (she's actually the friend I broke up with that I mentioned in the other thread) even wrote a musical theme for one of the characters, and I still think it's awesome. I occasionally goad her to play it when I see her now and we're somewhere with a piano.

Interestingly, much of the same group of friends and I were going to write a movie at one point, as well! It was going to be centered around a shuttered supermarket in town, and the strange things that we imagined happened there.

That's pretty cool that there's a part of your movie that's actually survived and persisted.
