Is there any sexual abuse behind that? That whole "I don't want my BF/GF(?) to touch me" sounds kinda red-flag-y. If there is something like that in her past maybe getting her some help might be an idea?

no, nothing like that in her past. we've talked about it a lot. I'm certain she would tell me. she is deathly afraid of rape and things like rape, though, and says that being touched feels like rape, which I agree is a bit of a red flag but we all have issues, I guess.

Some people just don't like being touched.

I have a tic disorder, and frequently being touched on the areas involved (head/neck, shoulders, sometimes upper arms) will activate the tic and it's very uncomfortable. People putting their arm over my shoulders is the worst, even if they're people I really really like. As such, I'm not much for cuddling. I can see why it might be a "deal breaker" for someone who wanted to date me, but it's not a "red flag" for my mental health or disposition.
