I'm going to guess that Steven Universe is the only cartoon OP has ever watched with female characters in it.

That's my guess as well.

Which is a shame because they're missing out on so much good shit.

I like how going "I wish there were more shows with well developed women" automatically translates to "This is the only show with a wuh-man in it in the history of animation. Please correct me and tell me how Sailor Moon existing means I can't ever ask for any more female characters, ever."

If OP thinks Steven Universe is somehow unique for having well-developed women, then it's pretty obvious OP hasn't watched a lot of cartoons, period.

Please point to where they said unique. I can't find it, your eyes seem to be sharper than mine.

"More female characters as deep and likeable as SU" implies to me that the OP considers Steven Universe's treatment of female characters uniquely good. Which leads me to believe that OP doesn't watch many cartoons at all.

Wow. That's such a stretch Stretch Armstrong would be proud.

Because I'd say if I wanted more juice, I wanted, you know, to get more juice, not that the juice in my glass was the only juice in the world and I'd obviously never been to a grocery store before.

I mean you can suggest other well done female characters, bonus points if they actually have a relationship with another female character that's developed at all, but don't go screaming "I'd like more juice" obviously means I have no idea that other juice exists and I really mean "This juice is unique and I am sad there is no other juice in the world."

Agree to disagree then. Last I checked unless the OP shows up to explain themselves I can interpret their secret however I choose.
