Not the OP. But I don't think you can say they are all faked. People really do forget things that are too painful. Yes, memory is very suggestible, and false memories can and often are created by therapists (generally accidentally I'd assume but not always). But repressing bad things is a thing that happens and I don't think you can say all repressed memories aren't real.
