I find his character physically attractive (and the actor too, I guess, though I haven't seen him in other stuff) and still find his character gross and hope they don't redeem him because, well, it wasn't like he was abused, or alone in the world with nowhere to turn. He had a family who loved him, but instead of trying to be like them he idolized Darth Vader, without even realizing that that his grandfather died trying to make up as best he could for being a mass-murdering zealot. And prequel Anakin was a whiny creep, but he grew up a poor slave. His background didn't excuse his being a killer, but it went some way towards explaining it. What comparable justification does Kylo Ren have?
