I will never understand why people were upset that Silent Hills got canceled. Especially when PT Demo was little more than an Amnesia knockoff.

I think they were upset because it seemed like it stood a sliver of a chance of actually being scary, which would be miles better than anything the games from the last ten (fifteen?) years have produced.

You're right though. I actually lost my Silent Hill boner the second Daryl Dixon showed up.

(also it was 10 years, as SH1/2 were amazing and 3 was pretty good. SH4 was so bad Tommy Wiseau probably would've made it better.)

Well I stress the seemed like because, again, Daryl Dixon showing up in the demo's secret ending totally killed any hope of that for me.

SH4 was .... well, it sure was a game. I've played worse, but for that series it was about as putrid and steaming as piles of shit can be.
