Fandom can be random in it's ships sometimes, and sometimes fandom prefers hate ships to friend ships.

I never shipped them, but I didn't really ship anyone in Burn Notice. I thought Fi and Michael had great chemistry but I agree that the back and forth was sometimes tiresome. Normally that kind of back and forth can make me drop a series but Burn Notice had a good enough cast to keep me there.

I understand some of the backlash about people grieving celebrity deaths, but honestly, anyone who'd say "but you didn't even know them!" is an ass. The implication that you can only feel sad about people you know personally is lacking in empathy as well as common sense.

I didn't get the hate either but then I also had a crush on him when I was young and that was 99% of the reason I even started watching trek >.>;

I think a lot of people don't realize Wesley helped get a whole lot of younger fans into the show (maybe they didn't want younger fans into the show but hey, we're all old/adults now.)
