Yeah, I would obviously expect the media to list a celebrity's varied roles and achievements when writing an obituary about them.

But I think it makes sense that certain groups of fans will focus on whatever role the actor played that was their personal favorite or the one they most remember them for/saw them in first. I know William Daniels has done plenty of other roles, of course, but I haven't seen any of those other things he was in thus far. And even if and when I do check out his other work in the future, "Boy Meets World" was where I saw him first, so obviously Mr. Feeny will be the first thing that comes to mind when I hear his name. But since others remember him for the other roles he's done, I would expect and hope that those get mentioned, too, of course.

And I'm going to stop there, because I don't want to jinx anything in regards to him. *Slaps hand over her mouth*
