I have the week off to mourn my nan.

Didn't stop me from sending emails telling delegating to my boss some urgent tasks/FYIs.

She did a lot of solo travelling in the outback as a nurse. Am liking all the tributes and stories about her life on facebook, like getting to know her all over again.

That's a cool photo of her :). And I'm glad that you're getting to read all these wonderful stories about her life as well-she sounds like she was a pretty neat person.

Yeah I know, but it's been my first big solo-managed project so I want to helicopter this last bit to make sure it gets all neatly tied up, no mess when i return.

I'm sorry for your loss. Wish you didn't have to worry about work at a time like this, but I'm glad you have other people to share your thoughts and feelings with. It sounds like she lived an interesting life.
