i like it when an author shows the same thing happening but from both character's perspectives. So Chapter 1 is Character A's POV and Chapter 2 is Character B's POV.

It can be done badly and I cringe if it's just the exact same thing written. But when done well I adore it.

I like it when that is used to highlight different things. I agree that it shouldn't be exactly the same thing just with different names and pronouns.
