AbsoluteWrite is pretty good. It's also really active compared to a lot of writer communities. There are a lot of writing subreddits that are good too. There's conversation to be had still on Fictionpress forums but it's glacial and intermittent for the most part.

NaNo forums works the best for me for creativity fuel, because everyone is so hyped and the lack of professional/publishing-orientation of it means it's a lot more fun and laid back than a lot of original writing spaces. Course it's only useful a few months of the year.
