Glee really fucked everyone on it over, didn't it? Has anyone managed a career after being on that show? All I can think of is Chris Colfer, and that's as an author rather than anything to do with acting/singing (which was smart, tbh).

Melissa Benoist is Supergirl and Grant Gustin is the Flash, but who knows if Supergirl will be renewed and iirc Grant Gustin had a very small role in Glee.

also Harry Shum is Magnus Bane in Shadowhunters: The Mortal Instruments, so it's looking good for him

TBH, he didn't have much of a career until Glee and there's a good chance that Glee is all his career is going to be. He's not good enough (or a big enough name) to get big roles. Without the existence of Glee his career would have been featured ensemble with second cover responsibilities.
