Apparently geography class. :-P

It's common in Britain to call people from the Pakistan-India region "Asian" and technically accurate.

Oh, I see. :) I live in America, and I've never heard anyone refer to people from India as "Asian." I suppose they technically are, but we would just say "Indian." :)
