Leftovers of the excessive amounts of Thai food we ordered for my birthday party last night. There were 12 people to feed yesterday, and there is more than enough for the 3 who live here to have a big dinner of it tonight. Might even make lunch tomorrow too.

Also, we've been ordering from this restaurant for almost 15 years now and my mom mentioned the birthday party when she placed the order and they sent a free thing of satay skewers with "Happy birthday!" on the outside of the box. Thanks, My Thai folks. :D

That's so sweet of them. :)

So the birthday party went well, then? The lemon triumph cake was a success?

It was a triumph! It was also a headache, what with conversion issues, running out of an ingredient, and almost forgetting a step in making the mousse. And it kinda fell apart when we served it. But it tasted amazing. Verdict: too much work.
