Dominick & Eugene--Ray Liotta and Tom Hulce (whom I absolutely adore.It's about twin brothers, Dominick (Hulce)has an intellectual disability due to an "accident" in his youth, while Eugene is trying to become a doctor.

Not sure if it counts as obscure, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't blockbuster--Thunderheart. I adore Val Kilmer and Graham Greene in this movie--and the supporting cast are pretty good too.

Oh they both look very interesting! I'm always on the lookout for good late 80s/early 90s movies. I don't know why, there's just something about that era that appeals to me.
