Oooh... many people here must really hate me then. *L* I have a co-author that I work with regularly and we BOTH do our own replies to comments if we feel we have something more to add.

Honestly, I never even gave a thought to it 'upping the count'. I never search that way myself so I didn't dawn on me.

Don't worry about it. Some people don't mind it (or prefer it, even) and some hate it. You can't please everyone. Keep doing what you're doing if it makes you happy.
