When I first got into that show, I'd had a few episodes saved on the DVR to watch on a day off from work.

Somehow I managed to wind up having recorded quite a few episodes dealing with cases of children going missing or being killed, and after watching a few of them, I was like, "...yeah, time to go watch something happy now."

I do like that show, but indeed, it's very tough to watch-sure, these stories are fictional, but it's a disturbing reminder that these sorts of crimes and people are out there in the real world and they do use real life cases for story inspiration. I relate very well to Garcia's squeamish reactions to a lot of the cases the team works.
