Nathan, as much as I adore him, is pretty obviously meant to be a drag stereotype, down to the whole affected "women are supposed to look good darling" type rhetoric, and his perving on Antonio.

Where I do give props is that Nathan is a multi-layered, complex character, and I like the fact that Antonio, as much as he rejects the advances, is also Nathan's friend, so he subverts that whole "REAL Alpha Male Who Gets Rightfully Angry At The Queer Dude" stereotype prevalent in Japanese (and let's be real, world) media.
