Re: Things you can't believe are considered "normal"

Because deep pockets might make your hips look a nanometer thicker than they really are. And if someone thought your hips were a nanometer thicker than they really are you'd die of embarrassment. Obviously.

Protip: men's pants. I've never looked back. You can even get skinny ones, if that's your thing. The only difference is they'll be cheaper, better made, of a guaranteed size, and have pockets.

NAYRT I'm just the wrong size and build to carry off the baggy man crotch on men's jeans. It looks seriously disturbing on my frame.

You could always get them tailored. If you find a pair that fits very nicely otherwise, it wouldn't be that bothersome or expensive to adjust the crotch.

Huh. Hadn't actually considered that. Might look into that next time I need a new pair of jeans. Thanks.

I'm a man and I don't really want a 'baggy' crotch either.

I can't wear men's pants. I have a pretty pronounced hourglass shape, though I'm plus size as well. Even in women's pants I have issues with loose waists. That would be a lot worse in men's pants.

Same, in both shape and plus size designation. I've tried wearing men's pants, but the crotch goes almost down to my knees, and there's not nearly enough room for my butt. Even guys with bubble butts can't do men's pants, and I have a natural freaking bustle (only slight exaggeration).
