what planet are you from that fast food is a "shit ton of money?" the whole point of fast food is that it is fast and cheap.

Fast and cheap in comparison to a restaurant meal, but in the long run quite a bit more expensive than if you'd cooked yourself. Like the people who buy a fast food lunch every day at work, 5 days a week almost all year-round. Even if you're buying more healthful items, you're gonna be out a lot more cash.

Are you kidding? I almost never get fast food because it's so expensive. I can cook enough food to feed myself for at least four days for the price of a single fast food meal.
