Re: Acne/blackheads at adult age
(Anonymous) 2016-02-07 11:04 pm (UTC)(link)As for products, sometimes a combination of products is necessary for exactly the reason you described. My dermatologist prescribed a special soap, a salve and a moisturizer. The latter is really only because the other two can be harsh for the skin. I can give you the names of the soap and the moisturizer because they're just brands, but the salve is something the pharmacy makes, so I have no idea what's in it. I think it might all be a bit too heavy duty for you though.

(Anonymous) 2016-02-07 11:56 pm (UTC)(link)The moisturizer: SVR Laboratoires Lysalpha Active Creme (it does say it's for oily/acne prone skin)
I live in Europe and get them at the pharmacist. I have no idea how wide-spread they are.
I only use the soap once a day, though I started with twice. Wet your face with warm water, lather some of it on, rinse it off with warm water, and then they said it was important that your face was completely dry before putting anything else on.
Hope this helps!
