I don't know really, just the differing fandoms might be an issue with me. 5 years ago I was in the tale end of Transformers and 10 years ago I was in the midst of Final Fantasy/Kingdom Hearts. Even if it was me from 2004, when I was nominally in the same fandom as now, I doubt we'd mesh well because me back then was deep in the Elfslash part of LotR/Silm while now me is in a niche part of dwarfdom. Maybe '04!Me would have found Dragon Age an interesting diversion though, and seen the similarities to Baldur's Gate in general feel and gone off into it instead of FF, but now!Me is a bit post-DA now.
