Jake might be aromantic, but he definitely feels like it's his fault that they broke up and that he's not deserving of close relationships anymore because he can't handle social situations very well.

OP: Yep, that too. And I mean Dirk has several buckets other issues too; I can't imagine either being the king of social interaction, but I have to restrain myself while making secrets or they will just be a WALL OF TEXT.
