(Anonymous) 2016-02-13 09:16 pm (UTC)(link)It's a very Stephen King horror, I think. Subtle, horrifying in ways you don't expect. Certainly with the book, it stayed with me and still haunts me to this day.

If any of a hundred things had gone just a little differently, Carrie's power could have been something beautiful and amazing. Instead, she and her entire class died horribly, screaming in terror.
