Starting to comment on my own fandom secrets (anon) has to be of the weirdest things I’ve done. There’s a few people that frequently comment on my secrets, and I’ve started to feel like I’m building a friendship with them, but they, of course, with all likeliness have no idea they are talking to the same person.

I hate wherever this appears in fandom and it’s somehow become ‘the norm.’ I could be in the most obscure corner of fandom and there's bound to be someone jumping on the bandwagon and making guys have periods and pissing on each other in heat and KNOTTING...as if I need all that shit in my life.

I don't know how/why it's become so popular but I don't want it. Ever.

It's a fun game. I like it's simplicity but there's enough of a challenge to make you think about it. I'd love to see someone create a story around it, build it into something more.

I was extremely confused by this secret right until the last sentence. I was like 'People don't like headcanons about gay relationships?? What planet are you on?'

RPF gets a bad name because it has so many tinhatters shoving their fanfiction in other fans', and sometimes even the celebrities', faces. Besides, gut feelings are completely internal. Just because you have a gut feeling about something doesn't mean other people do.
