It annoys me when they do that because I when I go back and read them I'm like "When did this happen?" And kids are smart enough to understand that technology used to be different than today and these books are older.

I re-read book one and almost died laughing at the references to one of the characters going to the arcade, and being really good because he plays a lot on his SEGA Genesis.
