I never thought the books or movies were scary. I just felt very sorry for Carrie and the people who tried being nice to her. I used to wonder how things would've turned out if she'd been crowned prom queen and had people applauding her without the whole pig blood mess. I like to think that maybe she would've come out of her shell more and made some nice friends. Maybe she would've done some more sewing on the side and earned enough money to movie away from her crazy mom. I know these are all optimistic scenerios, but I'm the kind of person who likes to think the kids in The Breakfast Club all talked to each other Monday instead of going back to ignoring each other.
