Human relationships are not clear cut. Closeness does not necessarily equal that they are knocking boots.

To outside observers the intricacies of two people's relationship are not going to be clear. And, more importantly, it's nobody else's business.

That's what drives it over the line from private fantasy to creepy, OP. Speculation and insistence about their real relationship is creepy.

Even the more "normal" forms of speculating about celebrity relationships, like tabloids, are creepy to me. Just because someone does something public for a living doesn't automatically make it your business who they're banging, or what genitalia they like, if any.

Yeah a lot of people's "gut feelings" about other people's relationships is often wrong.

And I in general don't understand why people think it's their business (but I also barely care about celeb personal lives, I just want to see what they're performing in and that's it.)

I've seen several instances of (what seemed to be) good friends distancing because the harassment from "fans" who wanted them to admit their supposed relationship became too much.

Why those fans don't get that it isn't their business and that they're being creepy as hell?
