Hillary is not loyal to the Democratic party, that is where you have the problem. The democratic party exists to serve her, as far as she is concerned, once she scores the presidency then there is nothing further they can offer her. That is her goal in and of itself. Plus she is savvy, like I said she'll make a half-hearted attempt at not doing so straight away in order to save face and make it look like she wasn't horse trading, and that will be that. And you people will fall for it, because you cannot conceive of Hillary using the Democrat party for her own ends. You can spot it a mile away in a Republican, but you are blind to a Democrat doing the same thing. That is so damn infuriating.

Even if Hillary were a 100% amoral sociopath who cared about nothing but power she would need the support of the Democratic Party. Nominating someone who was anti-choice would 100% lose her that support. No matter what kind of a front she put up. She still needs to be re-nominated, she still needs Democratic votes in the Senate and House to get anything done. Sure, she'll pander to pick up marginal Republican voters, but that's a completely different thing from totally abandoning the most basic tenets of the party. Because you can pander without losing the support of your own party. But you can't appoint a pro-life Supreme Court nominee and retain the support of the Democratic Party. And if there were such a situation where Hillary had no need of political support from the Democratic Party, what need would she have of support from the Republicans.

Fuck, Bill Clinton - who is literally Hillary's husband, and who spent a huge amount of time trying to triangulate and appeal to Republicans and compromise in the 90s - still nominated Ruth Bader Ginsberg and Stephen Breyer, both of whom have been rock-solid votes on abortion. If it makes so much sense for Hillary to appoint pro-life nominees, how the hell did Bill manage to avoid it? Like, literally the only reason that Hillary would nominate a pro-life candidate is if she was being evil for the sake of being evil, like a fucking Captain Planet villain or something. That's not how human beings work. Even fucking politicians. It is fucking insane.

Bullshit. Hillary could and would nominate and anti-abortionite and all you die hards would do was just through abortion on the pile of things to ignore and still call her a lesser evil. You'd grumble but still insist we support her, because that is what you've been doing all along. I for one am fed up ignoring her sins.
