I think Japanese children's shows are pretty fun! I'm not knocking the kinky stuff, but :opens titanium umbrella: the heart of animation culture is kid's shows.

I know right. And they can get away with so many shit, no one ever dares to use. I remember watching one where PTSD was not only explained, but a character suffered a lot because of it. After one failed mission, where he had a massive panic attack, no one forced him to magically cure the condition, they decided it's better for his health if he doesn't attend to missions for the time being. I dunno why, it was a nice change of pace.

It's called Danball Senki Wars. Third season of the Danball Senki series. Once you get past of tinyrobots battling in tiny dioramas, it's a pretty mature story.

In the USA it runs under the name Little Battlers Experience, but they cut out half of the show because terrorism, the attempted assasination of the prime minister and so on. I doubt Wars will ever reach the shores, because jut like what the title says, it's about wars and it would take tons of extra work to make it kid friendly.
