Have you read the Magicians book? I'm enjoying the tv show so far and I think it's a million times better than the book, but I only read the first book.

Nope I haven't. And I don't know much about it. I haven't had any time to pick up new things. I'm waiting until after the Bar. But Fantasy is my genre, and I'll give any new fantasy show a try. And it has been described to me as Harry Potter for adults, and I'm totally down for that.

Again, only 3 episodes in but definitely grown up Harry Potter. So it's a bit darker in the get go, but there doesn't seem to be a distinct villain yet. It's deviated so much from the book (thank god!) that I'm not entirely sure where it's going.
