LOL, no. I read the comments section regularly, and if you think those people are rabid SJWs then you've lived a sheltered life.

TBH, this series of threads did turn me off of her for a little:

http://captainawkward.com/2013/04/20/476-i-have-anxiety-that-women-will-have-anxiety-about-me-approaching-them/

Admittedly, she did apologize here,

http://captainawkward.com/2013/04/22/477-again/

but her original response (and the people in the comments) really bugged me, and did feel a little bit "rabid SJW-y"

Or this one: http://captainawkward.com/2014/12/19/649-and-650-making-room-for-the-ones-you-love-is-how-they-know-you-love-them/
though they did revisit it here: http://captainawkward.com/2014/12/23/649-revisited-some-blog-admin/

I dunno. She apologized, which is good. I understand where that frustration and snark was coming from, though. It's an extremely common thing for guys to go, "But how am I supposed to talk to women now that I have to care about not creeping them out IT'S SO HARD BAWWWWWWW THANKS FEMINISM". That may not have been the letter writer's goal, but it's still making mountains out of molehills. I roll my eyes every time a guy goes on about how difficult it is to not sound like a pervert. Really, dude? I try to imagine how conversations go for people like that.

"Hello, do you happen to know what time it-- AYYYY HOT MAMA GET OUT YER TITS!"

"Excuse me, is this seat-- WHY DON'T YOU SMILE YOU'D BE PRETTIER IF YOU SMILED!"

"I love this artist. I think it's the way his brushstrokes evoke the-- HEY BABY WHY DON'T I SHOW YOU MY STROKES I BET YOU'D LIKE THAT YOU DIRTY DIRTY GIRL..."

I don't think it's particularly SJW to be tired of men who make out like this is nearly impossible to avoid doing.

lol

I do think there's an extra layer of nuance - so many men have been creepy to so many women that it can be very easy to come off as creepy when trying not to - but that is not women's problem, and men who blame women for it and refuse to be introspective at all just make it worse. So I agree with you overall.
