Re: Gotham anyone?
I actually really dislike Bruce Wayne as a surface concept. I've always found him to be a huge, whiny, self-important man child going about a problem in the absolute most counterproductive way possible. Simply by existing he creates more supervillains, since a good portion of them come into being in order to pit themselves against a worthy foe (Riddler is a great example, actually).
What I so love about the property really is the villains themselves... the way they each personify a psychological disorder, and in a way represent that disorder in Batman himself. The only way I enjoy Batman is seeing him as a sick individual battling physical representations of his psychosis.
So... this show is everything I've ever wanted, really. A Batman property where Batman is a supporting character at best? Hell yes. HELL yes.
