I always hated TK and Kari from Digimon. They weren't that bad in the first season (they just didn't really do anything memorable), but in 02 I want to slap them whenever they talk. They come off as obnoxiously goody two-shoes and above everyone who can't be as nice and perfect as them. Too bad they both had moments that could have developed their nastier sides, but those plotlines got dropped.

And I hate Prim from The Hunger Games... for the same reasons, mostly. Which leads me to realize the precocious younger sibling who's doted on and seen as perfect is a type of character I hate in most things. From the same canon I also hate Gale and Johanna, partly because they're assholes who I never came around to sympathizing with as much as the text wanted me to and partly because they have a lot of annoying fans who overlook all their flaws so they can claim Katniss should have ended up with one of them.

Hrm, I didn't think Prim was that bad but Johanna and Gale were pretty annoying. And Gale even moreso in the movie (not a fan of the actor either).

I feel that way about Gale. I liked Johanna because I think the book recognizes she's an asshole. that was part of her character, so I didn't mind it. With Gale, I think we were actually supposed to like him, but I thought he was a jerk even before Mockingjay.

I didn't hate them, but I really started to dislike Kari and TK in 02 for the same reasons. I remember really wishing Kari would turn evil at one point and being really disappointed it never happened.
