Genuinely hate as opposed to dislike, not too many but,

Tony from NCIS, he is insufferable to me.

Scott Pilgrim, who again I find awful(this is only going off the movie though as I've never read the comic, but honestly that movie did not make me want to).

AoS actually made me end up hating Coulson because of how god damn hypocritical he became and I couldn't deal with the show hand waving his, and the team's, desicions away because 'they're the good guys'.

Oh and most of the characters on Torchwood fucked me off, I didn't make it through a season of that.

omg I am suddenly reminded of my burning hatred for Scott Pilgrim. He's such an asshole, and probably the major reason I could not get into that movie. There was something so painfully self-congratulatory about the whole thing.

I liked some of the side-characters but ugh, fuck Scott he was the worst and I hated that I was supposed to root for him. Eff that.

Sometimes I see gifs from that movie and have these moments of "wait, that's pretty cool, why did I hate it so much?" and then I remember Scott.

Man, Torchwood seems to have had a lot of hated characters!

And I have heard that about Coulson before! That AoS made him into an asshole.

Yeah I can understand why, some of them were so awful. I mean I can like asshole characters but they were too much for me.

It didn't help that I wasn't a huge fan of the guy to begin with, I was ambivalent more than anything, but as it went on I ended up really, really disliking him. And I ended up dropping it because of him and the writing imo was getting worse too.

That's honestly why I gave up Torchwood after forcing myself through the second season. I get that it was trying to be darker, edgier, and more adult. But every single character (except possibly Sato) was completely unlikeable.

Oh, ugh, Tony. Although I hate Gibbs a bit more, but only a bit. I stopped watching that show because there were only a couple characters I actually liked.

My bf tried to get me into it a while back but I just couldn't deal with Tony and I also found the show dull which didn't help. I liked Abby and Ziva but that wasn't enough to make me want to watch it.

I really only liked Abby and Ducky. And I liked Kate in the first couple of seasons until they killed her off. Ziva was okay. I was sort of neutral on her. But I just had to stop watching. The whole "Gibbs is always right even when he's wrong and paternalistic and insubordinate" and "Tony can get away with saying anything because he's adorable or whatever" finally made the show too unbearable to watch.

I never saw enough of Kate to form much of an opinion on her, she seemed alright though. Ducky was kind of cute in a quirky way, but again he wasn't enough for me to keep watching.

Yeah I was never a fan of 'Tony smarms and everyone loves him' he was an ass.

lel I'm so glad this came up, because I felt like I was the only person who hated Scott Pilgrim for a while.

Now I know that this is the correct mode of address.

Oh you are so not alone dude, I'm just glad I never paid to watch that film because that would have pissed me off even more.

If I had to choose to drop-kick any character it would probably be him, I mean he has competition but he's up there.

From what I understand, the Scott Pilgrim movie came out before the comic ended or otherwise just deviated. The comic at the end has Scott come face-to-face with the fact that his internal narration and memories are very unreliable in a self-aggrandizing way, and he and his girlfriend learning to mature wrt relationships and themselves -- so basically the opposite of how I read the movie ended.

That seems more dealable with tbh.
