Oh, ugh, Gwen. Yeah, I did not like her. I think I could have liked her, but the way she was written was infuriating. It was always all about her. Also, she's one of those characters where we're told she's awesome, but we don't actually get to see it (much). I hate that. Then there's her cheating with Owen, while mooning over Jack, while being engaged to Rhys. I can't believe she's the only one except Jack to make it out alive.

I was capable of feeling sympathy for Gwen at first, because she joined Torchwood and nobody bothered to train her and then got mad when she screwed up. But then the show started acting like she was this wonderful 'heart of the team' person without ever doing anything to show it. And what she did to Rhys was messed up.

I'm still mad about Ianto. Still. So. Mad. Even if I hated the character that was damn sloppy writing.
