I clench my jaw frequently as well. I find it helps overall to take a moment of the day (usually at night in bed while you're already relaxed or trying to relax) to do some deep stretching of the jaw muscles. Try slowly opening your mouth as wide as possible, and then rotating your jaw from right to left and back again as far as it will go. I tend to do this several times when I remember, and I can usually feel it all the way up the side of my head if I've been clenching my jaw really hard.

It doesn't fully stop you from clenching your jaw unconsciously, but it does make you a little bit more mindful of the state of your muscles and it can help the pain and headaches that result.

Yeah, right now I am just trying to not clench. The internet said to keep your tongue between your teeth and that seems to be helping.
