This is a pretty picture. The guy in front looks creepy, but I kinda like that. Is that skull armour of some sort?

(All these Sengoku Basara secrets are going to make me watch the darn thing! To be honest I've been avoiding it mainly because I think I'll really like it. It seems to have lots of ready-made slash pairings, and from what I see of it it's exactly the kind of crazy I'm into...I just don't have the money/time to get into a new series right now. D:)

Pretty sure it's a mix between a skull and being butterfly themed because butterflies represent death (because they were believed to carry the souls of the dead to the afterlife). His body armour (the part that's not bandaged) is also very reminiscent of rotting flesh/ open muscle tissue, probably because the character is suffering from leprosy. He definitely has one of the most symbolic armours in the games.

Ooooohhh! No wonder when I looked up fanart of these two the one in front is always bandaged, and nobody seems to have a consistent 'look' for him outside of his armour. I'm taking it at confirmation he never takes it off in canon? Huh. Yeah I guess I'll have to give up and watch this series. Doing a bit of reading on wikis and stuff apparently the two in the secret were thought to be lifelong friends and lovers.

Man, today is a day for secrets with really pretty art. There's like...five or six of them
